What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
There are many names given to Cosmetic Tattooing, sometimes it is called Semi Permanent Makeup or SPMU for short. Eyebrow Tattooing- Understanding the different styles.
The Powder or Ombre Brow. This style is suitable for every skin type. A pen is used to deliver the pigment in fine layers to the epidermis allowing the depth of colour to be slowly built up. The design of your brow colour will be adjusted to compliment your skin tone and eye colour and its shape to suit your bone structure and personal style. This is generally the longest lasting of all eyebrow tattooing styles , keeping its shape for 12-18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle.
The Combination Brow gives you a semi-permanent solution to great looking brows.The Combination Brow are versatile and loved by my clients. It combines hair strokes using the microblade or the advanced nano stroke using the pen, for the outline and bulb which is the area nearest the nose The definition is created by delivering SPMU pigment to the centre of the brow. It has a tendency to last longer than a Feather Touch Brow.
The Feather Brow or as its some time called, The Feather Touch Brow, Uses 2 methods: the Microblade or Nano Stroke. The original method is sometimes called Microblading. This is a hand tool and is comprised of a row of tiny pins which make up the blade. Gaps between the pins enable you brow hairs to slide through, so you don’t loose any hairs. This method of creating Feather Brow is ideal for younger, non oily skin and enhances a brow which has some hairs in place.
The advanced technique of the Nano stroke, is developed by individually crafting hair strokes using the pen method. This is better for mature, sun damaged and even more oily skin.

It maybe that you have already had your eyebrows tattooed and know how easy it is to look great, without the effort; you’re so over smudged eyeliner or have noticed that your lashes aren’t what they used to be and want more definition.
The process of an eyeliner tattoo is very simple. Numbing cream is used throughout and it feels like “Butterfly Kisses” The design is of your choosing, but I will always start with a fine line between your lashes. You can increase to your liking and lifestyle.
The healing process is simple and with little downtime. You have to keep them dry and free of make up for a few days. You cannot wear leash extensions for the appointments

Would you love the luxury of adding a hue of colour to your lips without the hassle of constantly applying lipstick?This is the big advantage of Lip Blush. You can chose from pastel pinks, soft corals of sexy reds. Shades can be blended to create a specific colour too.
Pigment is gently added to your lip in 2-3 of sessions. The effect will soften to a gentle shade which enhances your lips, 24/7. You will never smudge or leave lipstick marks on wine glasses again!
Some home preparation is necessary and the skin on your lips has to be hydrated and free of dryness. Clients who suffer from coldsores are not ideal as this can bring about an outbreak. Lip blush will add a hue of colour and does not plump the lips. If you require a plump lip, you will require filler.
The Healing Process
All Cosmetic Tattooing, including Eyebrow Tattooing, requires at least two sessions with 6 weeks between each appointment. This enables the skin to heal and embed the pigment, so the semi- permanent pigment is retained. You will need to care for your new semi permanent tattoo for the first week to ten days. The Healing Process and s After Care will be fully explained to you at you appointment. A comprehensive sheet and After Care lotion is supplied free of charge.
