Ombre Style Specialist Beeliar
Soft, defined brows with a powder-like finish — perfectly shaped and made to last.
Soft, Flattering Brows That Simplify Your Routine
If you're tired of filling in your brows every morning or struggling with uneven shape, ombré brows offer a soft, shaded solution that lasts. Designed to mimic the look of softly applied brow makeup, this semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique gives you clean definition, a balanced shape, and beautifully even colour — all with minimal daily effort.
Although my studio is based in Coogee, I work with many clients from Beeliar and surrounding suburbs who are looking for long-lasting, natural-looking results that suit their lifestyle and skin type.
What Are Ombré Brows?
Ombré brows (also known as powder brows) are a form of cosmetic tattooing that creates a soft gradient effect — lighter at the front and gradually deepening through the arch and tail. The result is a polished, makeup-like finish that still looks soft and natural.
This technique uses a digital tattoo machine to implant pigment into the skin in layers, using tiny pixel-like dots rather than solid lines or strokes. Because the pigment is built up gradually, ombré brows can be tailored to be as soft or defined as you like.
It’s especially suitable for clients who:
Want a long-lasting alternative to filling in their brows with makeup
Like the look of a well-groomed brow with clean edges and soft definition
Have oily, combination, or mature skin that doesn’t hold microblading strokes well
Want even colour and shape without harsh lines
Who Is This Treatment Best For?
Ombré brows are ideal for a wide range of clients, including first-timers and those looking to refresh older brow work. This treatment is great if you:
Want a softly shaded brow that looks like makeup but heals to a natural finish
Have thin, patchy, or overplucked brows
Need more structure or shape without the sharpness of microblading
Have oily or mature skin that may not retain hairstrokes well
Regularly wear brow makeup and want to simplify your routine
During your consultation, I’ll assess your skin type, goals, and current brow condition to confirm whether ombré brows are the right fit for you. If needed, I can also guide you toward alternative techniques such as combo or nano brows for a more tailored result.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Ombré brow appointments are calm, one-on-one sessions designed around your comfort and goals. Here's how it works:
Consultation & Design
Your treatment begins with a detailed consultation. I’ll assess your natural brows, face shape, skin type, and discuss the style and level of definition you’re looking for. Using symmetry tools and brow mapping techniques, I’ll draw your new shape for you to review and approve before we begin.
If you’d like to talk it through first, I offer free phone consultations, and in-person consultations are also available for a small fee.
Numbing & Prep
To ensure your comfort, a high-quality topical numbing cream is used before we start. Clients often describe the sensation as a mild vibration or light scratch — not painful at all. In fact, many people feel so relaxed they fall asleep during the treatment.
The Ombré Brow Treatment
Using a digital device, I build up layers of pigment to create a soft, gradient finish. I also use a highly hydrating hyaluronic gel throughout the process, which helps plump the skin, improve pigment retention, and support overall healing.
Ombré brow appointments typically take around 2.5 hours, allowing time for consultation, shaping, and detailed application.
Aftercare & Healing
You’ll receive full aftercare instructions and your take-home balm. Effects are usually mild — similar to a light sunburn — and typically fades within 36 to 48 hours. Healing is usually straightforward when aftercare is followed carefully.
Aftercare and Results
Caring for your brows properly during the healing phase is just as important as the treatment itself. A few simple steps can make a big difference in how your brows heal and how long your results last. I’ll provide you with clear, personalised aftercare instructions and a soothing balm to support your skin during this time.
You’re always welcome to reach out with questions during healing — I’m here to support you through every stage of the process.
Aftercare Tips:
Keep the brows dry for the first 7–10 days. This means avoiding direct water exposure and being extra gentle when cleansing your face.
Avoid sweating, swimming, and excessive sun exposure, as well as facial treatments or anything that may cause the skin to overheat or become damp.
Do not pick, rub, or scratch the area — even if your brows start to flake. Let the skin shed naturally to avoid patchiness or pigment loss.
Apply the aftercare balm I provide as directed. A light layer will help soothe the skin, prevent dryness, and protect the pigment as it sets.
Avoid makeup and active skincare products (like retinol or AHAs) on or around the brows during the healing period.
Following these aftercare guidelines carefully helps ensure your brows heal evenly and retain their soft, powdery finish.
Healing Timeline:
Days 1–3: Your brows may appear darker, bolder, or slightly warmer in tone than expected. This is a normal part of the pigment settling into the skin and will begin to fade.
Days 4–7: The skin may lightly flake or peel, and you may notice some unevenness as the top layers of skin regenerate. It’s important not to touch or pick during this time.
Weeks 2–4: The colour gradually softens and evens out into a smooth, powdery finish that looks more natural. You’ll see your true healed result by the end of this period.
Everyone heals slightly differently, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and how closely aftercare is followed. If you're ever unsure during healing, just reach out — I'm always happy to help.
Long-Term Results:
Ombré brows typically last 12 to 24 months. Their longevity can vary depending on your skin type, exposure to the sun, and skincare habits. Using exfoliants or active ingredients like retinol around the brow area may cause faster fading.
To maintain a crisp, defined look, refresh appointments every 12–18 months are recommended.
A follow-up session is essential around 6 to 8 weeks after your initial appointment. This allows time for your skin to fully heal and gives me the opportunity to touch up any areas that may have faded unevenly, adjust the shape if needed, and ensure the final colour is even and soft.
Booking Brows & Eyeliner Together? Here's a Smart Tip
All cosmetic tattooing treatments require a second appointment to refine and complete the results. If you're planning to have both brows and eyeliner tattooing, it’s best to begin the second area during the follow-up session for your first treatment.
This approach makes aftercare easier and saves you time. I also offer $50 off when both treatments are booked this way.
